Unique Aspect of the Project:
One of the most unique aspects of this project was our involvement in a government project, particularly on a main road where traffic flow had to be continuously maintained throughout the process. This added an extra layer of complexity and required meticulous planning and execution.
Challenges Overcome:
The primary challenge we faced was the need to raise the road upgrade up to 3 meters higher than the adjacent residential properties. This presented a significant engineering challenge. Additionally, we had to work within tight deadlines and adhere to the most stringent standards and quality expectations set by the government. Moreover, we had to find innovative ways to design and construct the retaining structures while staying within the limited budget.
Benefits for the Client:
Our project delivered substantial cost savings and time savings to the client, which was particularly important given the budget constraints and tight deadlines. We successfully met the most stringent quality and safety standards, ensuring that the road upgrade would stand the test of time. Furthermore, we were able to incorporate Colorbond fencing on top of the walls, as per the client’s request, providing added value and aesthetic appeal to the project. This government project now stands as a testament to our ability to deliver high-quality results within challenging constraints.
