Challenges Overcome
This project presented us with a unique challenge that excited our team — a challenge that required an exceptional level of attention to detail. We were tasked with laying vertical bond brickwork, curved along the length of each wall, and artfully raking it to accommodate the incline of the access ramps. While conventional brickwork is typically done horizontally, this project required a vertical orientation, transforming what would have been standard retaining walls into something truly special.Additionally, dealing with adverse weather conditions, we were in an El Niño season and the structural intricacies of creating the seamless transition from the hilltop to the bottom where a challenge, but nothing our team couldn’t tackle head on!
