WE RAISED $2.3K FOR BEYOND BLUE, BUT OUR RALLY CAR DIDN'T MAKE IT 😲​
At RWS every year we are dedicated to raising money for charities in need.
In March we entered a rally car event Beyond Bitumen that we entered and raised money for Beyond Blue.
A cruise for a cause
There is nothing quite like hitting the open road with a classic playlist, snacks and some of your closest friends and family. But what if your road trip could save lives?
Beyond Blue has a lot of meaning for us and this year we raised $2300. We reached out to partnerships and sponsors to contribute to the fundraiser.
The event has been running for four years and has raised $985,572 to support the work of Beyond Blue. Over 100 cars register each year and over 1500km will be travelled.

The Challenge
Our rally car lives in rural NSW so we were tasked to drive the car to Sydney and then change drivers to then drive further north to Muswellbrook.
An hour away from Muswellbrook, our car breaks down!

We did what we set out to do
Being the weekend we struggled to get mechanics to assist us, but we managed to get the car to the event, it just sadly couldn’t race. But we arrived and represented as we wholeheartdley intended to do!

At the end of the day our main goal was to raise money for Beyond Blue.
Our rally car might need some maintenance work in preparation for next year!
